Community Outreach

New Life’s clergy, staff and members reach outside of our walls and into our communities each and every day of the week. Last year our ministry was blessed to provide over 40,000 lbs of fresh food to those of need from within our community.

As winter approached and employment opportunities were decreasing their was a demand for winter coats and Christmas gifts for men, woman and children from within our community…. We are so grateful that God allowed us to be there to meet the need. Over 53 families were assisted with various needs for winter.

Our community, like many faces the challenges of substance addiction and abuse. Last year New Life successfully assisted numerous individuals between the ages of fifteen (15) and fifty-three (53) years old select appropriate and alternative programs for their habits. Participants were matched and triaged to various programs throughout the country based on their individual need, and as many as 93% are today living a new life free from addiction. Many of the participants, after successfully completing alternative programs were assisted in finding housing and employment and are today living productive lives and contributing to our community’s growth with very promising results.

As part of our New Life Outreach Ministry we are honored and remain excited to serve in our communities health care institutions, as well as judiciary and penal agencies with care and crises intervention. We continue to reach beyond our pulpit and pews and into the heart of the community and our team is making a difference.

Each year many walk through our doors, some to attend Worship Services, Life Group Support Meetings or participate in one of our Community Development Programs. Whatever the need, our Community Outreach Ministry is there to encourage and help, in any way we can, those in need develop a new life, and for this we remain grateful and honored to serve and bring hope to families and individuals from within our community.
